Just want to let you guys know that Uncle Johnny got admitted to the hospital this morning. He’s been feeling sick with dizziness and being shaky. He thought he had the flu since he threw up too. He asked Dad to take him to the docs this morning since he was having trouble breathing, and they sent him right to the hospital. I’ll keep you updated as we hear. We’re thinking maybe pneumonia, but we’ll see.

I wouldn’t have any idea who this band was if it weren’t for your 8-track collection. Savoy Brown’s “Lookin’ In” was my favorite tape out of all the ones that were in our basement, and I still listen to them a lot today.

Anyways, they just released a new album and are playing 3 shows across the US to promote it. One of them happens to be 2 hours away in Jim Thorpe, PA on Saturday, February 18th, and I am definitely going. What do you think?
Just kidding, look at what I found. It starts on the first kick but is only firing on one cylinder. I pulled the carbs around noon today and found a hole in one of the rubber vacuum diaphragms. There is a new one of those on the way thanks to eBay. This is a 76 CJ360T, the last year before Honda went to disc brakes in the front.
Since we had the idea of mixing up our vacation this year with a little beach and a little sightseeing or whatever, Dad came up with another idea. He thought a trip to Chicago would be fun with lots of stuff to do, and we could possibly get a place by the lake to visit the beaches too. There are a few apartment type places in Lincoln Park which look good, but Gage can help us out on location.
I’m working on the Asheville/Myrtle Beach one, but I could use some help. It’s hard to find a place for 3-4 days at the beach. Also what about travel time? It’ll take up a lot of the week – getting there, going to beach, and then traveling home.
Okay. I’m done. For now.

The scooter is now my only vehicle! The adjuster who came out today for another estimate was also a notary, so I don’t own this car anymore despite it sitting outside waiting for a tow truck. I’m so glad this was finally taken care of, and I’m knee deep in car shopping.
