I just want to take a moment and thank everyone for all the gifts and cards I have received since returning home from my operation. Gage, the candy was great! Jared, the stuffed animals may have been a little to much especially since they are pink. But its cool, because I know how you like Hot Pink! I love the card. GMA Smith, every thing came out fine! You don’t have to worry about it anymore! The recovery process is going great! My visiting nurse is the best! And if you thought the ride from PA to NC was uncomfortable, having someone change dressings definitely has it beat! But we are finished using hydrogen peroxide so no more volcanic eruptions are taking place in my lower back ;(. I’m really going to miss it! Other than that everything seems to be healing nicely! At this point I give my self a 96.87439% chance I’m going to pull through.
AJ is in Lexington!
Aaron is on his way to Lexington, KY to work with some guy on hotel carpeting. He got hooked up with him when he bought carpet tools from the Pitzer brothers. Apparently it was an on-the-spot decision: he was gone this weekend with Bethany, and I came home from work to a note. So, through having to do the mom and dad carpeting, he got some work, AND TRAVEL! Not bad.
By the way, the Salzano home looks absolutely great with the new Christmas carpet. The best part – all squeaks are gone. We want you all to know how thankful and happy we are with this gift – we love you all.
Sorry, Aaron. No more Precious visits.
My computer is toast
The power supply in my computer burnt out on Friday while I was at work, so my computer at home is down like down until a package makes its way here from Memphis, TN.
On the up side, my computer did not burn my house down!
Here are some links that should help you guys out until I am back up to full speed:
Mia is right here.
And creating a new post. Instead of comments. Look at that. Good thing I had some practice from my other blog. Yes, I did just create a link.
Good to see the Salzano Fam finally blogging. Everything we do together always turns out so awesome, so we should probably prepare ourselves for the fame that will ensue, as well as a few blog-of-the-year awards. Someone has to teach Dad. Not it.
So, I guess I will give an update on Joel’s surg. It went well, and so far he is not having really any pain (I think he is lying). I had a mental breakdown last night while trying to pack his wound (which is pretty enormous). But all is well and now I feel at least capable. He is bored and sick of laying around so he started sitting on a pillow. Let’s just say the Percs are working great as of yet. I got him a new playstation to keep him busy, and I guess NCAA playoffs are starting up…? I feel bad I have to work today, but he doesn’t ask me for much help anyway.
Pretty excited to visit with some fam this weekend…
PS. It is 78 degrees Fahrenheit. You should come visit. The whole damn lot of you.
XO
It’s here. It’s online, and so long as Jared does not misguide his Administrative power, it works.
