A little facelift
Corey helped me get a new wordpress theme going here, and I decided to do a little Gerald Mackerel logo. I think it’s pretty nice, Jared is currently working on other elements so expect those…
I was thinking if we got some old school 80s-90s family pics we could choose a few to alternate in the heading with the logo on top of them that would be sweet, just an idea.
The logo files and fonts (for those of you with Illustrator/Photoshop) can be downloaded Here.
We need some stuff for the about page? any ideas?
Hey Dad, Check out these Harleys
Attn computer dudes
Have you heard of the color munki?
Pretty amazing.
Easter’s Coming!
We only have a couple of weeks until Easter, so I thought it would be great to find out what everyone is planning on doing for the holiday BESIDES GOING TO CHURCH. Easter sure isn’t as much fun as when little kids are around to have egg hunts and hide baskets. Jared will still expect that though, and I refuse to just use the living room cabinets again this year.

Fine. I’m done posting youtube on the blog, and I replaced it with this post.
So last week in Civics class, the teach gave us a paper to pass around and told us each to write down a food/drink to bring in on Friday, since he thought we donated money to charity. He must’ve got classes mixed up because our class, consisting of about 10 people, donated a total of $0.00 . Thinking back, looking for the best food/drink I’ve had in a while, I wrote down “chocolate soy milk”. The class was grossed out.
On Friday, the donuts and 2%(milk), some Faygo and various cookies were displayed on my desk, so I went ov to sit by Austin and got out the soy milk. The class was tot amazed! Soy milk being a huge underdog in the food-fest as I expected, both containers(choc and vanill) were empty in about 20 min.
P.S. Silk sucks. Get a generic brand. Vanilla tastes almost exactly like coffee creamer, so buying this instead will save you some big bux. Some say that chocolate tastes like Yoohoo.
It’s Spring but I can’t tell
I happened upon a patio furniture set. I could say that I laid claim to it last fall when I helped my friend’s dad move it all into his shed. Now it’s here, thanks to Sargent Dodge. Chairs eager to support people and a tiled table to match.
All I need now is suitable weather and 10 minutes. Sunday afternoon was ideal, but I spent most of the day on a sheet of ice. Even if the sun shines, I will be headed to the coldest spot in town all week long.
We lost game two. We are tied1-1 and play game three of five on Wednesday. Next weekend, I am playing in a Labatt Blue USA Hockey tournament. Two games Friday, one Saturday and more if we win.
I Have Arrived
It’s official – Dad is now a proud email manager and part of the Salzano blog. Let the fun begin (slowly)
That about sums up the weekend with the fam. It was awesome and relaxing. The weather was crap, but whatev. We went to Airlie Gardens on Saturday because it was free and Joel was feeling up to it, and here are some pics.
Huge tree.
Was hoping for a geese attack by the time this picture was captured. Didn’t happen.
Bottle house. Why didn’t I get a pic from the front?? Mom have one?
Make a wish…
Friendly duel.
The pergola…before Jared fell in the water.
And then I abuptly stopped taking pics…as usual.
Building it up
My computer is alive once again, and I have been working on websites all day and night. All except for earlier when I watched the Penguins lose to the Blue Jackets in a shoot out. I am gearing up for a huge hockey game Saturday. We are headed to a game 3 final against our first round opponent in the playoffs.

I pulled a nail out of my front tire yesterday. Why must I get very quickly acquainted with the tires on every vehicle I own?
