That’s right…the Kays are heading home this year. And you should too. We are planning on driving up Thurs 7-2 and driving back Mon 7-6. So start saving up, we are doing it big this year. Again.

I have started thinking about what we could do this year at SHIII (salzano holliday 3) . The past couple of years we went on fishing charters. That would be cool again if everybody is in but if not I was just wondering if anybody has any other  suggestions? I was thinking about jetski rentals??? Not real sure though. Just wanted to get some input. I know Ive already recieved some feedback but jared said blog it so…

Finally! It is hammock weather! I’m having a Christmas gift sort of week and it’s awesome. I just got Aaryn’s xmas gifts in the mail (we are always super late on sending them) and got to hang out in the hammock Corey got us for Christmas too!

Greetings from Memphis, yall! Ive finally found time to post, its been a pretty busy few weeks. The job we are on was originally supposed to take 2 weeks, but we were also supposed to lay on the existing pad, and that all changed when we got here.  Its ok tho,  i could think of a lot worse places to be stuck, this is a pretty awesome city. I had a blast with Mr. Orrico, and was really grateful to get a chance to spend some time with him before he leaves for the military. And yes, the rumors are true, i had to go to the hospital. Twice. Everything is fine, however , no worries.  The job is complete, we are just wrapping up a few loose ends, and getting ready to load the truck. We should be on the highway soon, and after a quick stop for a small job in Springfield, OH, we will be home. Cant wait to see yall.

It’s such a great day, with beautiful weather, half the fam here at home, and lots of interesting stuff to do. I’m feeling pretty happy today! Corey and Kylee are in NC for the weekend. Have you all seen Corey sporting long hair and a beard? Pretty cool. How about Dad with no facial hair and pretty short (ahem) hair? I’m still working on getting used to that. I hear that Aaron the rug gypsy is due to breeze home some time this week. Long time no see. Gage, Jared, and Kayli are doing their own things outside, and there’s lasagna in the oven for dinner. A day like today makes me grateful for all of life’s blessings, and I have many. How about you guys? What do you feel most blessed about?

so im driving down college road on an amazing april afternoon and up ahead i see a firetruck and a couple of police cars. traffic is beginning to back up! i still had 45 minutes left on break and all i had to do is drop off mias smoothie and then i figured i would have enough time left over to go to the driving range and hit a bucket of balls before returning to the office but not if i get stuck in traffic! so i decided to hang a right and avoid the accident drop off the smooth and id be good to go to the range.  after cutting threw dicks parking lot i run up on more traffic! once its my turn to make a louie i proceed into the turning lane. as i do this mias smoothie falls out of the cup holder (damn saturn! but wait it has it coming) and is all over the floor. everywhere! what a mobile home mess (thats very southern for a huge mess).  as traffic starts to move i take my eyes off the road for 1 second and here is what happened:

needless to say i didnt make it to the range. everybody was fine. after waiting for the police for 45 minuites i was bored out of my mind. the little kid who was in the car had a piece of yarn so i felt this was a perfect time for magic tricks! the little kids were mesmerized. i entertained the kids for the next 20 minuites with magic and jokes! after the popo left we said our good byes and i gave them my card. i think there is a good chance they will be in to purchase some flooring in the next few months (the strange thing about selling flooring is when you tell them thats what i do everyone tells me they need flooring).  Any way all else is well and after seeing the little kids eyes i definetly know what my next profession is! later in the day we cut down the dead birch in the front yard.
