So I made a few videos to get extra credit in Driver’s Theory.

Felix the Cat was a kick ass cartoon from the 20’s, and a cool name for a kid. if you name your child felix, i will probably get this tattoo
Ok so where has everyone been??
Joel and I are excited to visit with everyone in a couple weeks… but don’t blink b/c we will be back in the Carolinas before anyone knows it. We are planning to drive up after work on Fri the 20th. Depending on how late we get on the road, and how pregnant I feel (increasingly so everyday) we might stop and sleep somewhere to finish the drive early Sat. Sunday is baby shower, and Monday back on the road! Yes, we will miss Thanksgiving, but this is as close as we could get.
“So have you picked a name?” everyone asks.
“No” we reply.
We have scoured baby name books and the internet, and have decided we have not decided. I think I might just have to actually look at him first. Who knows who he will look like… The classic Aaron-Mia-Corey look? Or the light haired Jared version? Gage the Irishman? Perhaps, since Joel’s family is Scottish-Irish and English (they think). I mean what if I name this kid Salvatore and he has Gage’s red beard??? And lets consider his future hobbies. I don’t know anyone that owns a surfboard with the name Giacomo. I’m only kidding… the Italian names went out the door when I met Joel.
So here is what we came up with:
Mia’s list:
Alex
Avery
Bentley
Brady
Brooks
Emory
Felix
Finnley
Hendrix
Jackson
Jonas
Levi
Logan
Mitchell
Morris
Oliver
Owen
Parker
Paxton
Ryder
Silas
Watson
Joel’s list:
Abram
Ardon
Banan
Bentley
Brady
Bronson
Carson
Deacon
Dylan
Elden
Emerson
Felix
Gunnar
Jackson
Jonah
Major
Michael
Parker
Raymond
Sampson
Solomon
Thurston
Truman
Tyson
Walter
Winfield
Xander
Xavier
So the names we agree on are Felix, Bentley, Brady, Jackson, Parker.
Who would’ve guessed Felix is still in the running. We agreed if we cannot come up with another name, it will be the default go to.
I also just remembered Kayli’s little bro is Brady. And I don’t really like Jackson b/c if he goes by Jack it will be two K sounds in a row. I have also eliminated alliteration names starting with c’s or k’s.
Naming something is really hard for me. Naming a CHILD is impossible. The only thing I ever named was a fish. Two fish, actually. Elvis and Dolly – that turned out pretty lame so I am kind of worried about this. So as the people who chose the names for everything else in our household, help me out!
so im working in this hotel and we are working at night and its kind of hard to fit meals into my schedule. there isnt a kitchen in my room, and going out to eat all the time isnt smart. so before the next big job im thinking about buying a blender and making smoothies all the time. Does anybody have any good recipies? (or smoothie blends, mixtures, idk what you’d call it)
So, yesterday (9-19-09) Aj and I went to the Pittsburgh zoo. We came back to the truck and I looked at my camera. 104 pictures. Just the zoo. Good thing we got a new memory card!
After about a half-hour of drastically reducing the files on my PhotoBucket, I created a new album called “Zoo 9 19 09” (since you can’t use dashes >:[ ). But anyways, I did delete some of the pics with bad quality or whatever.
Here is the album, there are pictures and videos:
The password is still salzano….. Yes, I know, the site lags when you scroll, but it’s worth it 🙂
PS: PhotoBucket is so slow at uploading that I had time to get a shower, change clothes, and blow dry my hair. I got in at 10% and when I got back it was at 71%.
Since we were talking about how awesome craigslist is on vacation, I present Clown for Kicks.
If the post gets deleted…
Clown for Kicks (Mendota Heights)
Date: 2009-08-28, 11:12AM CDTI am looking for someone to dress up like a Clown and hang out with me. I would cook you diner – or we could BBQ something. I’m interested in making my neighbor lady wonder. I have already had a man in a panda costume last month – and also had a heard of sheep come in for the day to cut the grass. (sheep do a good job by the way). A clown would be something.
Maybe you could bring some balloons – or make balloon animals to hang in my tree. I’d like to have this done some evening between 6pm and dark. The longer you can stay the better (like if you could stay for the whole 3 hours). Do you have any tricks you could do?
Like I said – I could cook diner and get you drunk – I’d even be willing to pay your cab fare to and from. I don’t have much to offer – and my neighbor lady is driving me nuts – so I want to drive her nuts. If you had a Mime friend – it would be cool to see you two chase each other around the yard or do relay races while I time you.Let me know your thoughts – open to Men and Women Clowns.
Last week, my welder buddy Nick found a 40 hour temporary welding job about 2 hours away in Maryland. He helped build a bouldering/rock climbing wall with a guy he would have never otherwise met if it weren’t for craigslist.
I put a local wanted ad up for the car I am looking to buy. Yesterday, I got a call from a dealer two and a half hours away in Suffolk, NJ. He told me that he’s driving down to the Manheim Auction (15 minutes from my house), and he will call me today if he finds what I am looking for.
This is great. Some guys at work have showed me this and I listened to it twice already. Paul Stanley’s People, Let Me Get This Off My Chest. It’s a 76 track compilation of random stage rants between songs at Kiss shows. Hilarious.
I think you can download it Here.
I posted on my car blog today after a few month absence. I am cross-linking to remedy my absence, here. http://www.coreysalzano.com/integra/idle-speed/buying-an-integra-again/
