No Surprise
So once again this year, i am broke at Christmastime, and feel like a dork. When i was trying to figure out what to get everyone, i decided to take the old advice that if you dont know what to get someone, get something that you would want yourself. So i have assembled a collection of some of my favorite music of all time, wrapped it up and put in in a bag. The only one with a name on it is for Felix. Sorry Mia and Joel, looks like you guys get last pick. And sorry Dayna, but theres no new kids on this playlist. Merry Christmas everyone!

Who Stole Alligator’s Shoe?
I am trying to buy all the Sweet Pickles books online for little dude, but anything in good shape is hard to come by. Would anyone object to me taking mom’s stash? They will be kept in a locked case that will not open if crayons are within 10 yards.
A wedding picture
I was organizing some photos for email this morning. Here’s one of them. Ryan, Tim and I are posing with Laura Moyer about an hour before she became Mrs. Travis Smith in downtown Harrisburg, PA. She’s a chef. He’s a butcher. Thanksgiving at their place was fantastic.
Christmas Plans
I was just thinking of all of the traditional things we do for Christmas Eve and Day, and I was wondering if anyone wishes that we could change up a little bit. Does anyone have an idea of something they want to change or do differently?

Look Out Highway
Well, get ready. Tomorrow little Jared is going for his physical and eye exam in order to get his driver’s permit. So next weekend, he quite possibly could be Mia’s ride around town. Joel, hide the keys to that new Jeep. Here’s my memories of teaching you guys to drive:
Aaron – ignored stop signs and red lights, apparently hasn’t changed much.
Mia – took the words “we’re going to turn right” to heart and instantly made a turn on 2 wheels. Had a tremendously close call.
Corey – I don’t remember having much driving time with him because he already knew everything and I think he got his license without even practicing. A natural!!
Gage – best overall learner; paid attention to everything and was calm the whole time. Still the safest driver as far as I know. That’s the Irish in him!
My prediction for Jared’s time – I’ll have to man his cell phone while he drives which means I’ll never see that telephone pole coming.
