So I’m trying on a new sweater I bought and I ask Jared the usual – “Does this sweater make me look fat?” Jared replies, “Well, it’s not so much the sweater that makes you look fat, it’s pretty much the fat that makes you look fat.” Okay, so I knew that anyway. When I was checking out the sweater, sadly I received the special Tuesday night senior citizens discount for people over 55. Tonight I’m fat and happy, in a sad sort of way.
So, I entered 44 things in the fair, ranging from art to crafts to photography to cookies. I just added the total money amount up and figured I’ve earned roughly $130.50
Prizes are:
1st-13, 2nd-16, 3rd-2, 4th-3, Merits-2, Nothing-6, Unknown-2 (too many [inexperienced] photos blocking the view)
Jared, wadaya think? Enter a kuksa cup under sculptured wood item? A space invader belt under novelty creations-useful-large?
Bags are packed, sheets and towels are bagged up, road snacks are ready to go. The first wave of beach travelers will be watching the Steelers, taking a nap, and hitting the road. Everyone – have a safe trip, take your time and be aware. We should arrive at Wrightsville around 4:00 p.m if things go well. Call if you need anything!!

So has anybody heard from Gerald? Is he going to be making an appearance at Wrightsville this year? I was hoping to run into him on the 4th of July, but i didnt see him around anywhere…
So Joel and I went to check out the beach house yesterday… Pretty sweet!

the living room is now the dining table, where the dining table was is now more kitchen
there is now a trellis above some of the top floor deck (shown in one pic, actually)
tv is much larger (i think they probably had another tv…b/c the one on the website is so small!)
The first floor consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 queen, 1 with 2 twins and 2 bathrooms, one attached to a bedroom. The bedroom in the front of the house has a kitchenette, a sofa, and access to the deck and the outside steps. Upstairs: deck, kitchen/dining area, living room w/ 2 denim couches (wouldn’t be the beach without denim couches), 1 master bedroom and one bedroom with 2 twins and another bathroom.
The location is great- we’ll be at public access 18 if you want to invite anyone (20 E Henderson).
