Happy New Year to all the beautiful G-Mac readers I know. I wish you peace, lots of love, and many blessings from above. I wanted to expand on the Xmas money gift a little bit. We thought everyone could use it in whatever way they choose instead of getting more “mom and dad” gifts, but the money came from your sweet angel Grandma. It was from a life insurance policy pay off we got. So, when you use that money, think of Gram and how she’s probably looking down on you feeling pretty darn happy to be part of your Christmas once more! Luv you guys.

Hi, gang! Wanted you all to know that I have deactivated my facebook account. I’m spending too much time on it and I need to get to some projects I have waiting. Sorry, little Felix; I hope you post your pics somewhere else for us to see.

Dad is home safe and sound. He did really well so far and is determined to heal up quickly. He’s resting on the couch and glad to be home. He has therapy tomorrow morning, and we’ll go from there. No more pain, thank God!!

I have 2 pairs of black socks that are not being claimed by anyone here. Is anybody missing a black pair of socks with a white Nike swoosh on them, or a black pair of dress socks with a diamond pattern?? Let me know!

I got the family invitation for the summer picnic, so I’m passing the info along. It’s September 5th, 1:00, at Scotland Meadows Park in Union Township. Hot dogs and corn, everyone else brings a dish or dessert. Ronny Cook sings his Italian songs over a mike so the whole park hears him, and everyone dances around in a line. Other than that, it’s a nice time to see everyone.

This morning, Uncle Raymond died. He was in the hospital for a few days before; not sure what happened. He was in his 90’s though. If anyone wants to send a sympathy card to Ronny and Patty Cook (since Aunt Mary is in the nursing home), their address is 1308 Laurel Place, 16101.

Also, if you want to send Jerry one, his address is 2363 Hidden Timber Drive, Pgh, 15241.

I thought I’d let you all know about a few things going on; some you might be interested in and some you might not. Jerry’s father passed away in his sleep on Wednesday. Gram and I are going to the funeral Saturday morning. He’s had Alzheimer’s for a couple of years now. My Aunt Lois had a massive heart attack a couple of weeks ago. Since she signed a living will, they aren’t doing anything, so she is literally days away from dying. I remember lots of fun sleepovers on her farm when I was little. Cyndi had her trial this past week – remember when she fell and broke her leg at McDonald’s? Well, the jury did not rule in her favor, so that turned out to be another thing to make her sad.

That’s all I got!! Hey, wasn’t it great the weekend when Felix came? I love it when you are all together – hope you all had fun.

I gotta get moving for Easter Sunday! It looks like Aaron, Jared, and Gage will be home for Easter for sure. Corey, what are your plans? It would be cool if you could make it.

I did something weird this holiday – I haven’t called anyone to invite them for dinner like I usually do. I want to see if anyone really cares about getting together – Dad thinks the answer is no. We’ll see.

Well, I’m doing the summer beach house search. This year’s week starts Saturday, August 13. I’m looking to find out which beach everyone likes better – Carolina or Wrightsville. It’s kind of hard to get an oceanfront at Wrightsville (the one we had last year might be the only good one so far), but there are some nice ones a few houses away. Anyway, give me your opinions or suggestions if you’re planning on coming down!!!!
