Guess who’s buying this copy of the Rolling Stone? I’m not the only one wondering what the heck happened.
I just ordered Dad a 50″ TV for Dad’s day. I don’t see why this couldn’t be from all of you since he’s a tough one to buy for. If you want in on this action, let me know!!
When Gage was home this weekend he asked if anyone was coming home for the 4th. Since I don’t really know, I thought everyone could give it some thought and post what their plans are. Then you all would know!!
Well, you guys did it again and made me cry. When I opened the bracelet and saw all of your birthstones on it, I started. But then when I read the inscriptions, I couldn’t believe it! So beautiful for a Mother’s Day gift! You guys are all so thoughtful and caring to me – I don’t know what I did to deserve it.
Jared submitted one of his stories to a magazine on line and they decided to include it in one of their issues. Ask him about it.
In other news, I lost my job and have to look for another one……
Wow – it’s been a long time since anyone posted on this site. Anyways, I wanted to try to make some plans for Xmas. This is basically to Corey and Gage, but Aaron if you’re out there CALL HOME ONCE IN A WHILE DAMMIT. Do you guys remember me asking you if you’d want to go to Pittsburgh on Sunday to do something with Betsy and Jerry? Well, they thought they’d like to do that instead of coming up on Xmas day. Sorry Corey, Steelers tickets are out. The thing we came up with doing is to go to the Cathedral of Learning at Pitt and tour the Nationality Rooms. They decorate them for Xmas according to the different countries, I think. Then we could go somewhere to get something to eat. I need to know if you guys think this is something you’d like to do on Sunday, because if not I’ll have to try to persuade Betsy to come up on Xmas day.(The only other thing is ice skating; let me know if you like that option better.) Xmas Eve we’ll be going to mass as usual, but I’m waiting to hear from you guys to see whether to have Joni and Johnny and all on Xmas Eve or Xmas day. (Don’t know if you have plans with others, etc.) So let me know your preferences, and we’ll go from there. Luv ya.
Hi Mia!!!
Yesterday was pretty crazy at the hospital with Uncle Johnny starting withdrawal. He was way out of control and thrashing around, pulling out his tubes and all. They were sedating him with as much as possible, but it wasn’t helping. They even made Cyndi send a bottle of Vodka, but he was too far out of it to drink any. He slept from about 5:00 to 10:00 last night, but then he started up again. Dad was there ready since the nurses said they couldn’t handle him. Lots of funny stories from that episode (best line he said to Dad “look at you over there just lovin life” after Dad helped them put restraints on him). Well today he was just as bad, so they put a ventilator on him. I guess it’s just they sedate him so much that he wouldn’t breathe on his own; anyway I don’t know how long they do that for. Maybe they know how long it takes. To add to this, Cyndi is getting surgery on a torn meniscus tomorrow, so she’ll be having some stressful times ahead. So keep them in your thoughts and maybe say a couple of prayers; some good and great things always come out of bad situations if we try hard.
I’m bringing toilet paper, kleenex, laundry detergent, softener, and hand soap for all. I’m also bringing paper towels, dish towels, sugar, coffee, tea bags, jelly, cereal, oil, Cascade, dish soap, ketchup, mustard, mayo. I may bring more but I don’t know how much room I’ll have. I just thought of this – you guys could probably care less about the list I just typed!!!!! Hahahaha……
Check this canopy tour out – looks kind of good. Dad wanted to try this.
