wow dude. no pain? yeah, b/c you body was thinking ‘i don’t even know what to do with that.’
had surg yesterday. everything went ok. i got a bone graft so a small piece of someone else’s bone is now part of me. i don’t know if the plate is steel or titanium, but there’s 3 screws holding it in place. it feels way better already. when i can take the dressing off tomorrow night, we’ll take a pic of the wound. i should end up with a pretty awesome scar.

I fail to see the humor in my sweet baby’s misfortune.
misfortune?!? HE PLAYS ICE HOCKEY
My neighbor is a nurse anesthetist at Lancaster General Hospital. He knows I play hockey, so he started telling my about this young guy that he recently treated that needed a few plates to patch up his collarbone. I asked if it was you. He wouldn’t tell me — something about patient confidentiality. Whatever. But he seemed disappointed when I mentioned you — I think I ruined his story to me.
I met two guys from anesthesia. Unfortunately, those were the moments when I was the most loony and don’t remember details. I talked about hockey with absolutely everyone, and they were all really cool people.
ouch!
