Vacation Time

Anyone getting excited for vacation? Thought I’d list some things I got to bring along just in case you wanted to know. I’m trying to save having to go to the grocery store and buy everything we need. Towels and bedsheets are included at this place, but it wouldn’t hurt to bring some extra towels. Bring what you need for showering and stuff, too. Here’s what I got so far.
Coffee, Tea bags for iced tea, case of water, peanut butter, jelly, ketchup, mustard, laundry detergent, softener, bug spray, toilet paper, paper towels, and napkins. And 2 pans of lasagna for dinner some night. Not much, I know, but I don’t know how much space we’ll have in the Rav. I hope to bring stuff for Saturday night so we can just settle in as everyone arrives – burgers and hot dogs maybe. Remember we can’t get in until 4:00 and we’re shooting to arrive as close to that as possible to open up. Oh-if you have water shoes bring them because I read somewhere that the rafting places require them. Just in case. If anyone has binoculars that would be cool too. Can anyone think of anything that would be helpful to know?

If you like a certain kind of shampoo for your hair you can bring it, but I’ll have some, and toothpaste and liquid soap for the shower. If you have a scrubbie, bring it with your toothbrush!!

Ok so I haven’t gotten anything. It has been chaos. And I work 14 hours tomorrow. So it’s all Joel. We’ll be lucky if we have one pair of pants each. 🙂 But we will get there!

No worries – I think I got the basics covered and enough food for Saturday night – if it all fits in the car. All will be well; just don’t forget Felix in all the rush.
