So the fourth is quickly approaching, and i don’t know about everybody else, but i’m getting super excited. I was thinking, we usually go to Ohio for fireworks, but…i’m currently alot of states away, and what if other states have bigger, badder fireworks? I mean, two inch mortars are cool, but how much cooler would three inch be? I have been working alot, and don’t have much time to spend on the net, and i know some of y’all are better at researching things than i am, so any help with this would be appreciated. Lets make The Cat’s first 4th one to remember. I can’t wait to see that little guy with a roman candle in his hand.
Also, why am i having such a hard time posting pics on here? Tried to put one up i took of the shuttle launch, but kept getting error messages. Give me a hand, computer dudes.

I can’t wait either. I bought him a ‘my first 4th of july’ shirt the other day and took him outside in a thunder and lightning storm for a sound test ( no crying!). Wait that sounds bad. It was not that bad of a storm- and thunder claps are louder here when the storm is far away I think- b/c of the ocean I’m guessing. Anyway it was totally safe on the porch.
I just found out Gage is not gonna be around 🙁 Good thing we came up last month and got to see everybody- that was awesome. Speaking of, every time we get a full fam pic, Corey has crazy hair. Last time dreadlocks. Anyone else notice that?
As far as posting pics, I usually upload to another site, then click the add media button, and I think the 2nd tab lets you put the web address as a link (instead of uploading the pic here).

you know, i was thinking about all the near miss accidents on the 4th, and bigger fireworks is exactly the conclusion i came to, as well.
i’ve never bought them in a state other than ohio, so i don’t know what’s available.
i’m glad that i get to photo bomb all the family pics. kylee wants me to be weird al for halloween this year. i don’t know how i feel about all of that.
Coery, you brought back two memories– 1.) The firework exploded DOWN the hill and at the neighbors 2.) The firework exploded UP the hill, creating an extremely bright flash and fountaining sparkles everywhere
We have new neighbors this year. We’ll have to ask if he minds since his yard gets plastered.
yeah, there’s not many more places for rockets on a hill to go. i’d like to make a phantom run on saturday the 3rd if anyone is interested.
today i saw a 9 month baby that was smaller than felix was on mother’s day. what a beast.
My mom said someone on her route sells fireworks. I’ll have to ask her for more info; see what they have.
it seems phantom has taken over the market, and their catalog is the same for every state. their online catalog has video of most of the products- very cool
