…but it’s about time to add a face shield. Santa got me a new helmet, but I have been playing with no shield since the one on my old helmet does not fit. I even tried a shield that one of my teammates has an extra with no luck.
Well, last night I paid the price for taking my time finding one.

Santa is feeling pretty darn suicidal. I didn’t know about shields!!!!!!
I knew mom would cry.
I guess you are an official hockey dude now, with a facial scar and all…
That’s going to be a nice scar. People are going to like “OHHHHH that had to hurt!” You could make up a 1000 stories to a scar in that local! As you already know hockey isn’t the sport for pretty boys. If you want to learn to play golf I can teach you (and Im not saying Im a pretty boy), I just cant skate or play hockey. Really glad to see that it ididnt happen and inch and a half to the lower left. But, if you only had 1 eye you could have a million stories (but far fewer people would really be listening to you when you talked).
was that from a stick or the puck?
stick. ya, i got lucky that it wasn’t a broken nose or a gouged eye. kylee was disappointed that they didnt shave my eyebrow off because she wanted to draw it back on.
Kylee– hah!
here’s your chance to sport an eyepatch
that sucks. i could have lent you a suture, though.
