So here I am on the couch. With my glass of water.
My Dr put me on bedrest last week, so I am on disability from work, and am not really allowed to do anything or go anywhere. I am supposed to lay around and drink water, which was not really what I had planned for the last month of pregnancy. So far it is pretty lame, but I’m trying to make the most of it.
I have been thinking about starting a family cookbook for a while now, but with this recent increase in free time I am thinking of getting it into motion. I think it will be a nice thing to have as we are all getting older, and a gift I want to impart to my future sister in laws.
So help me out with the necessary inclusions. Obviously mom’s sauce recipe, Betsy’s cookies, Gmas pizelles, etc. I need to get a copy of Johnny’s tape of Grandma making ravs, and I think I have the recipe for Aunt Jean’s capeletti soup, although technique was never learned. 🙁
Leave a comment with your favorite foods, or most hated dinner repeats, whatev. Just anything that brings to mind family memories.

Johnny is planning on making capellettis with Aunt Alice and Leanna the next time they do it. Maybe he’ll have some tips on that.
