you know i think i downloaded this and burnt both the discs when i first saw it announced. i played it for a while and figured out that westwood online doesn’t work anymore. you can get a patch to run the gdi and nod discs on xp, but i couldn’t find a way to make the online play happen.
i still remember the sequence we came up with to quickly build a slew of tanks for the quick kill, too.

build barracks
build weapons factory
build refinery
sell barracks
build tanks
build tanks
etc.
talk about burnt in my mind forever. i forget how high we ever got on the world wide ranked ladder, but man did we put some serious hours into that game.
